Christmas is coming, but first my son/daughter-in-law have a Silver Wedding to celebrate....they asked me to make a cake and decorate it etc.........so........not having decorated a cake for years was a bit nervous of even attempting it with arthritis sometimes being a challenge to contend with in fingers....however.. time to adapt, (not giving up)...I decided not to even attempt the delicate decoration i used to do, so having some roll out icing left over once the cake was initially covered I modelled with my fingers some roses, which I left to dry out over a few days and this morning completed the remainder of the decoration to the best of my fingers ability......the result is as shown....not as ambitious as a few years ago...but...challenges require positive attitudes and I refuse to be beaten.....hey presto.....

Whoops that cake was September, but lovely to have accolades after the cake has dissapeared. Thank you.
..Smile, then everyone will wonder what you have been up to...... ........
