Hello I'm new to doing craft and am looking for a cutter and embossed. Would anyone have any advice to give for the best one for value for money? Thanks Natalie

Hi welcome to the forum Natalie :) I love the big shot, you can use any of the dies & embossing sheets on it, as it comes with a pad so you can use thick or thin dies in it, it cuts so many different types of materials too & cuts very neatly. You can use leather, vinyl, felt, iron on fabric, shrink plastic, fine sand paper, cork, paper, card, chip board, fabric, light weight steel, tin, ply wood and so many others too! Hope this helps :)

Hi and welcome to the forum. I have thr big shot too. I like that the universal platform that comes with it has pictures of what tab to use for each type of die as opposed to other machines that have lots of different plates. It makes it very easy. It is bigger than the cuttlebug but it's still not huge and size wasn't a massive issue for me anyway.

I have the Cuttlebug and love it but haven't used any others so I have nothing to compare it to. X
