My Recent FOs

Ok, I will look out for that book, I can't ask for any more money for knitting right now...just got away with a whopper spend at Kemps. :)

Nice to see that I am not the only one around here who is making things up as I go along too :-) , fortunately my DH gets excited when I do that. It's when I am trying to explain that there is a mistake and I have to frog 100 rows to fix it that he looks at me as if I am an alien. I am the same with his model making, so we are quits.

RC, have a look on ebay, that's where I bought my copy from. I have also bought a few of her other books from there aswell. My neighbours daughter talked her into buying a new JG book in town last weekend for £4.99, I recently bought 3 booklets (including postage) for £3.48!!

Hi Buffy, well done on your lovely knits. I am in love with that jelly baby. If he goes missing I may have kidnapped him! :cheese: Can you tell me where you got the pattern for him? I'm feeling the need to make a whole troop of them in lots of different colours. :-)

Thank you for your comments

Knit & Flee - the pattern is from a Jean Greenhowe book called Little Gift Dolls (got a pic of a bell boy on the front) I borrowed a copy from my mum's neighbour to start with but I now have my own copy which I bought off ebay for a fraction of the usual selling price.
