Help with wool suppliers in the UK

Can anyone help me? I have found a lovely pattern for some cute little baby hats on an american website (purlbee.com) They are knitted with wool available to buy from their online store. However, it will cost me an arm and a leg to get the wool sent over here so I was wondering if anyone knew of any suppliers based in the UK that sell anything similar. It is a glorious super soft merino, loosely spun single ply (which I am not sure of meanings terms-wise) The closest I can find is thick and thin handspun merino but I am worried about knitting the hats with it as I don't want it to look bulky in some places and thin in others. I am all very knew to this (as you can probably tell). I have attached photos so hopefully you can understand what I mean.
