    In Remembrance

As part of our November issue, we shed light on crafting throughout the First World War - in honour of this year's centenary, and of course for Remembrance Day. If you've got a family story you'd like to share or if you've made something to commemorate the occasion, whether it's a crochet poppy or a family tree album, we'd love to see. If you're looking for something to make, our November issue has a gorgeous poppy book by Carolyn Letten... What have you been making in honour of this year's centenary?

    Beaded Bookmarks

Hello I'm new to this forum, and wanted to share some of my recent creations. I have had lots of fun creating cute beaded bookmarks. I love combining beads, charms and small polymer clay creations to make unique bookmarks. I've attached photos as thumbnails. Let me know what you think Kay xx

    Hello crafters!

Hello everyone, You may have noticed my face popping up here and there in the last few issues of Crafts Beautiful - I'm the new Deputy Editor! It's lovely to virtually meet you all. I truly hope you're enjoying the magazine and can't wait to get chit-chatting with you all about it. Do let me know what you're loving at the moment - whether that's a particular feature you can't wait to see each month, or a craft technique you just can't get enough of. Happy crafting! Rosie x
  5. I'm interested in knowing what the craft trends are for this autumn/winter 2014 to include; colours, materials or a particular project/item to make etc. A quick search on the net provides lots of fashion and home trends, some which you could apply to craft and handmade gifts. Any thoughts?

POLL: What do you love most about paper crafting?

Hello folks! It's time for my monthly paper-crafting poll. Tell us what it is about paper crafting that you love the most, even if all of them apply (we know, we know it's a hard decision!) It's a particularly hard decision this month, but I think what I most enjoy is having some creative me-time. I look forward to hearing what yours is! Take care! Jenny PaperCrafter team

    New, and excited!

Hello All, As a newcomer it is good to be here. I am excited to have the chance to interact with you all, and in turn I also am excited to offer my knowledge and skills in the crafting world. I am going to introduce a new tutorial video series that will walk through how to make several craft items using ribbon. Hope they are informational and useful to some.

    Crafting after a stroke

Dear crafters, I hope everyone's well on this crisp Tuesday morn. I recently received an email from one of our PaperCrafter readers and wondered if anyone had any advice. Carol lost the use of her right side after four strokes, and finds it very hard crafting. Her husband has bought her a Cricut since, which has helped her immensely. Primarily, Carol enjoys making cards but also likes to try her hand at rubber stamping. If anybody has any tips for Carol, it would be very gratefully received. Thank you Jenny
