    Gingham Fabric

One of the main reasons why I sew my own clothes is so that I can achieve a good, hopefully great, fit. Shop bought ready to wear is made for the average sizes and lets face it but very few of us are a perfect average and few of us would ever want to be! www.sewingavenue.com/gingham-dress/

  8. Your Name Your Theme This is an Under-the-sea themed 'Jack', I think it is very personal to have a keepsake of yours, your childs or a special person to you in a theme that they liked. How excited would your child be to have his name in his favorite TV-Show (Fireman Sam). I take my time personalizing each letter and designing a theme to fit your name, Jack was a little boy who was fascinated with everything to do with sea life. His mum wanted a name tag that he could hang on his door so his friends would know that Jack loved sea animals. Each letter is hand cut and sewed together with a cotton stuffing. The Themes can be made in all sizes from large to small depending on how you want to use them. If you would like to view my other handmade keepsakes then please visit my facebook page by clicking here. I am a small business trying to get off the ground, I am passionate aboout crafts the same as everyone else that visits this forum. Please share the love and help me out. I would be very appreciative. Thanks to everyone who has viewed this post. Please feel free to spread your ideas on here.

  11. Hello lovely crafters! I've been researching a few of the trends this year, and what we can expect! Of course there's no predicting these things entirely, but it always helps to think about what we will see in the shops - and our next few makes of course! Of course I couldn't include them all, but digital crafting, lace-look, floral vintage, natural materials, calligraphy and retro pattern are all set to get big this year, and I was wondering which you're most looking forward to! Personally, I'm looking forward to retro patterns the most - if I really had to choose. I have been meaning to perfect my calligraphy too so it's a tough one! I love the colours often used along with retro patterns, soft reds, oranges and yellows. Tell me what you're looking out for Take care, Jenny

    What's on your Christmas list?

Hello crafters, Hope everyone is well, and that nobody had too much trouble with the storm earlier this week! Things go into a bit of a panic, don't they? I was wondering what's on your Christmas list this year! What crafting goodies have you got your eye on? Let me know, I'd love to hear! Take care, Jenny X

Waterproof paper wedding bouquet - tips please?

Hello folks. I've had a message from a PaperCrafter reader about their wedding next year, and it'd be great if you would share any tips or advice you have. Debbie would like to make her own paper bouquet for the wedding.. ideally for her it would include paper gerberas and ivory pearlescent paper, and she would also like to give it an enamel effect if possible. Debbie is wondering how to shape these flowers and how to protect her bouquet when it rains. If you know of anything that would help or have any tips, then please share Thanks, Jenny

I am new to the forum

Hi all, This is ThatsCuteTastic and I am an eager crafter wanting to influence other people to try new arts and crafts. I am only 13 and would love to have a career in art and craft when I am older and I think this would be a good starting point. Basically, I have a new YouTube channel which will have videos and tutorials on crafty things. I have only made one video so far but I am dedicated to making a lot more if I get a few more subscribers so I know people are interested in my channel. I am planning to make videos on felt work, drawing, polymer clay, DIY, cards, jewellery, sugar craft and maybe even knitting and crocheting. I am new to this and would love to hear all your posts Thank you for your time, ThatsCuteTastic

  18. Hello! I'm an undergraduate art student, looking to share my latest work and meet new people who enjoy making craft as much as I do! I would really appreciate some feedback on my work too. Below are a series of illustrations that comment on genetically modified food - the series is to coincide with my essay for uni. I found it interested trying to portray a serious topic whilst retaining my own illustrative style - quite a challenge but I enjoyed it. More of my paper illustrations and digital work can be found on my portfolio www.littlelemondesigns.co.uk Thank you! Carina
