    Cross-stitch, anyone?

Does anyone here on the forum like to cross-stitch? It is one of my fave crafts. I love the Gorjuss designs mostly. Have even done a few of Johnny Depp! The one below took seven years to do as it is so big! Probably my biggest ever crafting achievement!!

CB 263 House Sampler & small brooch

This is my take on Helen Phillips' Home Sweet Home wall-hanging from CB 263. For the backing I recycled an empty spiral-bound notebook with a pretty cover. The brooch is pretty but tiny - 1" diameter- from a kit.

    MY JUNE STITCHING

BOOKMARK and WALL-HANGING for the CB JUNE SWAPS: Cross-stitched motifs mounted on splash-bleached denim. Quite pleased with them! Other kits - PUNTO one was in Spanish, with foriegn-looking floss and I had to guess at the colours. Don't think it looks too bad. The Hello Kitty one, I copied from another I had, and added a heart balloon. Fairy and house from freebie kits!

    More March stitchery stuff.

Here is: a tapestry cupcake, nicely framed so's no-one with eat it. a daffodil in cross-stitch, in a frame as a pendant on a crochet=ed chain.. (I may make it into a bag charm or key-ring) A bunny gift bag, which I find is rather STIFF - may hold a compact or mirror. I put a button for the nose. A notebook - cross-stitching on pierced paper which was interesting. A teddy wall-hanging for a baby pressie. Feeling quite chuffed...
  7. Freebie notebook with cross-stitch insert and a pincushion kit (I added ribbon to make it into a scissor-keeper too) in tapestry - which I've never tried before,

    WOODEN HEART

Another freebie cover kit - cross-stitch on wood. Very interesting - yes, we'll go with interesting - because one isn't sure where one is at the borders - But I made a fair go of it I think!
