  1. Found these balls of that holey-sort of wool that drives me daft, but it was in a Charity shop and only £4!! Searched web for patterns, but only found scarves. Here it is in GARTER - both sides frilly and would hang straight.. Tried it also in STOCKING - reverse looks like pelt, but naturally it curls under. Don't really want to make another scarf. Thought I might try a simple shrug, or a kiddie one in STOCKING. Any thoughts or experiences to offer??

    Other Stuff What I Done Last Month: The LANANA ROMERO yarn - thanks for suggestions folks! - after I got the measure of it , I used it as a centre panel for a pram cover, with crochet edging, and flower motifs. Going with the crochet, I made another one with yellow, white and yellow/white variegated yarn from stash. Still on the baby theme, I knitted the diagonal squares (a first for me!) from the last months LGC but decided to use them this way - with the crochet edging as a small pram cover too. Quite liked that.
