    Help with Insurance

    Hi I need some help please with public liability insurance. I have been asked to demo at my local Hobbycraft but I need to get PLI . I have had a coup[le of quotes back and they have been in the hundreds. Is this the norm.? Can anyone send me details of who they use and if I can get a one off policy for the day only?     Sewing machine help

    I know that there is loads of info in the mag but I want some real people help :-) I have not sewed on a machine since school on an singer, I want to purchase a good machine for a good price, I want to be able to make outfits from the mag but also cushion covers etc. I would like to do embroidery too what is the beat all round easy to use value for money machine?? thanks in advance

    Decopage mdf cardboard blanks

    Hi I have been give a selection of mdf and cardboard blanks boxes ,money boxes and cases etc.I have a massive stash of paper that would look fab on some of these items. What the best way of decorating is it just a case of covering and layering with pva glue? or should I varnish? thanks in advance Karen
  6. Hi, I have got started , just knitting my first big softy scarf from sirdar its going well but I have just about come to the end of my first ball of wool how do I join another? this must be the only instructions not in the pattern!! thanks again in advance karen xx

Hi all, Can any one tell me what the best book for learning is ?I can probably remember how to knit one purl one there are some great things in quick and crafty and cb that I want to have a go at but I have to say its a bit confusing!!! Also whats the essentials I need to get started(I know needles and wool ha ha ) but is there a size that's used more and a wool that easier to work with? Any info would be appreciated. thanks in advance Karen

    Morning all, I have purchased the fab bind it all but I am having trouble getting my holes in the correct places. I have looked on the web site and the Q and C u tube and its still not clear. I have played around with scrap paper and I thought I sussed it but if I do anything larger than the jaw its self I cant work it out and I haven't got to doing the pages yet. I am sure I am just being a bit durh buy any advice-would be great. Thanks in advance Karen

    Hi, I would like some advice if anyone can help? I want to get my paper designs published any ideas how I go about this . I am a little worried about sending my designs of willy nilly .Any help would be much appreciated. ;-)
