    Beading some ancient keys!

They look really nice - very original. Depending on the size, I think they would look great on a necklace; with an antique chain

    Handmade Gemstone Jewelry

Gemstone jewellery is beautiful. I actually just bought a pair of stud earrings with a black onyx stone, and I love them. I will definitely invest in some jewellery to match them I don't currently make jewellery with gemstones, but I do think this is something I might consider in the future!

    Halloween Makes!

Hi everyone, As October is my favourite month of the year; and I love Halloween, I made some Halloween themed jewellery this year! I thought I would share some of my favourite pieces. Have you made anything for Halloween, or even just autumn in general? Happy crafting!

how to start putting myself out there...

I sell in a range of ways. I do have an Etsy shop, which has had a few orders (www.etsy.com/uk/shop/CharmingThreadwares), and it is ok if you want to sell a few bits and pieces. It gets easier once you have a few sale and (hopefully) good reviews). I also sell via facebook. I upload albums of my work, and make sure let people know how to contact me to set up an order. some people want specific colours or designs as well, so I always try to let people know that I can customise pieces to their liking. Friends/family/word of mouth. I make a lot of jewellery and accessories for my family, who then refer me to people they know. This is a good way to get people knowledgeable about what you do, and for them to get first hand looks at things you have already made. Something else I am thinking of doing is having a 'jewellery party' for friends and family. Very casual and relaxed with snacks and drinks, as well as the chance to look at and buy my work. Hope this helps

    Beaded Bookmarks

Hello I'm new to this forum, and wanted to share some of my recent creations. I have had lots of fun creating cute beaded bookmarks. I love combining beads, charms and small polymer clay creations to make unique bookmarks. I've attached photos as thumbnails. Let me know what you think Kay xx
