    Secret Santa this year?

That sounds very interesting, I'd like to take part. Edit: Can't seem to find the threat though; most of them seem to be days of the week.

    Secret Santa this year?

I would be interested in that. I can't knit though.

You can watch them on demand. If you go to their website you can watch the two that have been on so far. Here is the link: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/kirsties-handmade-christmas

I wasn't keen on the trees either :/ Prefered the ones last year. Maybe we should all email channel 4 and ask them to start showing it earlier! They could repeat it again in December.

It's been on Tuesday evenings on channel 4. Well worth a watch! The final one is this Tuesday.

    Bigbunnies big day

I hope you're having a lovely birthday. The gifts from the girls at your work sound great.

    Kirstie's Handmade Christmas 2015

Has anyone else been watching the new series? There have been two episodes so far (both available on All 4) and they're so inspiring, as always - although I can't help feeling Kirstie doesn't seem her usual chipper self this year, and in part of the first episode you can definitely hear she's got a sore throat! But the programme is still fantastic and it always makes me want to try loads of crafts. There are a number of competitions in each episode including wreaths, gingerbread houses, cakes, and advent calendars (which I would have loved to see last month, in plenty of time for the start of December!); plus Kirstie gets shown how to make things, some of which are fantastic. I'm still too unwell to do much more than go online or watch TV for a little while, so for now my Christmas crafty inspiration is staying in my head. But I still love watching the programmes and having loads of ideas; it's a great distraction if you're not feeling great. On a side note, one of the advent calendars was made of balloons - a balloon filled with treats for each of the 24 days - and I couldn't help thinking that many of them would look more like prunes by the time they got popped.

Thanks. I'm feeling horrible now so can't work on anything. I definitely don't want to transfer my germs to the gifts! Good idea about the angel fabric xx

    Help

Glad someone could help. It's like a foreign language to me! :/

    Brainstorming angels

I've picked up a virus which means I can't visit my Mum in hospital. Hopefully it'll be well gone before Christmas.

Applique - is that where you cut the shape out of fabric and stitch it onto a different fabric?
