    Wednesday go get it Wales

I have to go through the alphabet to trigger a memory of a plants name or an actors name. I do word association too like I bought a pomegranate tree so to remember it's name I think of Australia and what they call the British (poms ). I suppose t works if you can remember the association phrase you put to it . Thanks for the info KQ will be getting it from H......nd and B......et. I bought beetroot this morning which lowers blood pressure we are growing a plot of beetroot should be ready in August. You must of needed the sleep Denise helps get rid of your cold, I am up early as I go to bed at eleven, only need six hours sleep.

    Tuesday

CN my grand daughters birthday is today so no the turtle isn't ready, instead I put a fiver in her birthday card. Besides when she visited Sunday I had given her the monkey huggy a hat with a teddy head on it , an African flower bull dog, so she had all the things I had finished. I have a fairy half made to go on top of turtle so I can finish that off and crochet some coral to go with it. Maybe it's a Christmas present now. KQ where do I get bee pollen and Royal jelly, I don't want to go to the Drs. I hate taking tablets, But if it persists I'll have to. John has just gone and got me some annadin so I shall go and take some.

    Tuesday

Good morning, goose it's not your fault re the spam only there was 2pages of it on here and I lost it , is it so difficult for the CB head quarters team to keep them away. I appreciate all you do when ever you can do it . The sun is shinning, so it's out in the garden to pull a few weeds, the cauliflower plants are growing new leaves now we have netted it from the ravaging pigeons . The sewing Bee I also didn't enjoy too much this year but still worth seeing it, a disappointment with the end result of clothing made, characters were not so out standing as last year . Well after chores it's motif crocheting and Wimbledon , with strawberries and ice cream, I still have remains of my neuralgia attack but gargling and drinking pure orange juice plus eating mushrooms to boost the immune system. Have a good day all.

Also Andy is playing today at Wimbledon and more motifs to crochet. Must go John wants me to help do a letter on the Internet. Have a lovely day.

    Friday

Morning all, the rain has reached us too again it's just like winter. Denise those were hexagons crocheted that you saw in my last picture the grey in the middle has sequins on it, looks like drops of water, so I am making Autin the African flower turtle by Heidi Bear with a little baby turtle on top. It is my grand daughter Molly tenth birthday on Teusday so I will try and finish it by then. For those who didn't see pic here are the hexagons . I don't know about sunshine for Cornwall but it is usually lovely for the second week of Wimbledon so maybe you will be ok with the weather Eliza for your holiday . Well breakfast is calling BBL.

    Thursday

Oh Denise you will have to guess, no not really I just forgot to put the price up. All four balls for a fiver. She gets me some lovely stuff, like last week she got 81 yes 81 X 25g balls of wool for £8.00. I think they are selling them on e b......y for three times as much they are from the art of crochet warehouse. Julie has a friend who gets them from their and sells them at a boot fair. John has just picked a load of rhubarb do I best get on and cut them up for freezing.

    Thursday

Morning all, a bit drab and raining this morning, Wimbledon has sun so perhaps that will come our way later. Lovely to see your poms on display , will you get them back later Eliza, only you can make some lovely animals with them or sew to the bottom of a tea cosy. CN nice to see you on so early, will pm you in a minute, hope you like this outfit that's coming. I am waiting for a blue pashmina coming to finish off my out fit, my best friend leant me her blue jewellery so I am nearly there, I have to outline the tree guest picture I drew and fit it in to its frame for the wedding, went off doing the quilt of bonnet ladies but will finish it when I get in the mood and give it to Jade for a special occasion later. Today is for watching the English tennis players and doing the embroidered tennis racket, what about this for a bargain Julie found. 4 X 250g = 1000g baby wool

Thank you all re the racquet, I will put it on other techniques when it is finished. Lovely avatar Su2ie you look really happy. Would you believe it I trawled the Internet for this latest craft knowing I could only find one lady in South Africa who does it. Well I get my second ever sew magazine and what is in there but an embroidered tennis racket. Here it is. What a co incidence well I am going to read the article and see if I can do the project other than just studying a picture.

    Wednesday

Good morning all, beautiful sunny day, up early again but it takes me an hour to feel any good and feel like normal . Oh for the days I used to get up and feel refreshed. Not now but never mind I put pictures of my new craft on last nights thread of repurposing a tennis racket, Julie found three racquets for me at a boot fair for a fiver. So got on and doing it see what it turned out like. ELISA enjoy the theatre Cats is a musical I would like to see as well as the lion king. Well John has cooked his bacon and egg breakfast I must now go and do mine talk to you all later. I hope you get some sun.

    Sunny Tuesday - for now!

Well I have done quite a bit of my new craft, it is repurposing a tennis racket. This is my WIP,. This is what I am aiming for And another piece both by Danielle Clough. . There are alsorts of things to embroider on tennis racquets like animals etc. There are no patterns so I studied the picture and started to do mine. It's like painting but with wool, I am really enjoying it. Well it's late so I will say goodnight until tomorrow .
