    Blocking?

I'm not sure what this means - I have seen it referring to the making up of a piece of knitting. Any ideas what it means? Yes, of course you do :-)

    More tension

Another query on tension - forgive me :red: Following my first query on whether I should bother actually doing a tension square, I feel that (following feedback from you) I will. My query - when you buy the stated wool quantity for a pattern, does that include enough for a tension square without having to undo it and encorporate it into the WIP? I ask because I like the idea from knittingqueenuk of using them (the squares) as a reminder blanket/throw.

    500g of chunky?

I am getting swept away with this renewed passion of knitting - I just bought 500g of a beautiful claret chunky wool from eBay. Any ideas on where to get a quick, easy pattern (for me, small lady ) and will 500g be enough for?

    Because I'm worth it

Gardening has been my main passion for many years - but back when I was knitting I never thought to buy books, I only ever bought a pattern as and when I wanted/needed one. Gardening books - hum :red: *steps over piles Too many hobbies, not enough time ;-)
