Make a glass votive unique with an embossed polymer clay wrap

What you need...

• Polymer clay, Fimo Soft, lavender
  
• Fimo Accessories, texture mat, baroque
  
• Glass votive
  
• Iridescent powder, purple/green
  
• Tools: rolling pin, knife

instructions

1. Work a block of lavender clay and roll into a 3mm thick sheet. Press with a texture mat, then wrap the clay around a glass votive, taking care not to squash or distort the pattern.

2. Trim the ends to meet, then gently smooth out the seam. Cut away any excess at the base and rim too. Lightly dust with iridescent powder and bake at 110°C for 20 minutes.
