Crochet the accessories for this quick-to-make firefighter duo!

instructions
  1. hydrant
    main body
    Rnd 1: Using 3mm hook and yarn G and working into an adjustable ring, 6dc, join with a sl st. Six sts
    Rnd 2: (2dc in next st) six times, join with a sl st. 12 sts
    Rnds 3–10: 1dc in each st to end, join with a sl st
    Stuff
    Rnd 11 (tbl): 1ch (does not count as a st), (dc2tog) six times, join with a sl st. Six sts
    Fasten off

    centre band
    Using 3mm hook and yarn G, make 18ch, fasten off

    base
    Rnd 1: using 3mm hook and yarn G and working into an adjustable ring, 6dc, join with a sl st. Six sts
    Rnd 2: 2dc in each st to end, join with a sl st. 12 sts
    Rnd 3: (1dc, 2dc in next st) six times, join with a sl st. 18 sts
    Fasten off

    lower band
    Using 3mm hook and yarn G, make 19ch
    Row 1: starting in second ch from hook, 1dc in each ch
    Fasten off

    top roundel
    Rnd 1: using 3mm hook and yarn G and working into an adjustable ring, 6dc, join with a sl st. Six sts
    Rnd 2 (tbl): 1ch (does not count as a st), 1dc in each st to end, join with a sl st
    Fasten off

    side roundel
    Make two
    Rnd 1: using 3mm hook and yarn G and working into an adjustable ring, 6dc, join with a sl st. Six sts
    Rnd 2: 1dc in each st to end, join with a sl st
    Fasten off

    to make up
    Wrap the lower band around the base and sew it in place. Sew the base to the bottom of the main body. Sew the side and top roundels in place, and finally, wrap the centre band around the main body above the side roundels and stitch in place.

    hosepipe
    hose
    Using 3mm hook and yarn G, make 7ch
    Row 1: starting in second ch from hook, 1dc in each ch, turn. Six sts
    Row 2: 1ch (does not count as a st throughout), 1dc in each st, turn
    Rep Row 2 until piece measures 30cm
    Fasten off

    nozzle
    Using 3mm hook and yarn H, make 5ch
    Row 1: starting in second ch from hook, 1dc in each ch, turn. Four sts
    Rows 2–3: 1ch (does not count as a st throughout), 1dc in each st, turn
    Row 4: 1ch, dc2tog, 2dc, turn. Three sts
    Row 5: 1ch, 1 dc in each st to end
    Fasten off

    to make up
    Fold the Nozzle lengthways and sew the sides together. Attach the Nozzle to the Hose. Roll the Hose tightly from the end and secure using a few stitches across the width of the roll to keep its shape.
