instructions
  1. Jubilee Plate - 1 Wash the china to remove all traces of dust and grease as this will affect the finish. Dry with a lint-free cloth.

2 Transfer the motif templates onto the surface of the china. Use a selection of colours and start filling in the areas of the design, as shown. On ceramic, the pens glide and rarely resist the shiny surface, making decorating crockery a breeze!

3 Fill in the areas of the design with a block colour application. Dry, then using a fine tip pen, add further detail over this. Simply keep building up the pattern.

4 Embellish the crown in the centre of the plate with stick-on gems; dots of gold work well too. The decorated pieces can be baked in an oven for durability, or left to air-dry.

  2. Espresso Cup - 1 Prepare the cup in the same way as the plate. Transfer the flower motif on one side of the cup and paint in the union jack. Add the crown motif on
    the opposite side.

2 Apply dark blue key lines around the flowers and leaves, then fill the rest of the areas with block colour. Add tiny irregular red ovals to the centre of the flower. The crown is gold with red, blue and dark blue details for the jewels.

  3. Invitation - 1 Stick blue and white A4 card together. Lay it portrait and score in half width ways, then make a top fold with white side uppermost.

2 Take the mug template and draw out lightly onto one side of the folded card. Use a craft knife to cut it in to shape.

3 Trace off the motifs using our photo as guide for placement. Using the Posca pens, lightly work over the lines to add colour and pattern. Re-work any parts that might require tidying up. Finally, add stick on gems and outliner.
