Crafts Beautiful Magazine

This irresistible gingerbread house and wintry scene created by Ellen Kharade has been constructed entirely out of polymer clay and would look eye-catching perched on top of a cake. The great thing about polymer clay toppers are that once baked, they last indefinitely and can be used year after year. Polymer clay is a much more forgiving medium than traditional sugar paste decorations as it allows you to take time and work in stages if required. As with all non-edible items designed for decorating cakes, we advise that the clay models are left out of the reach of small children.
