LuLu75 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2014 Hi, I am knitting a jumper and having trouble understanding the pattern. Please can someone translate the following for me? I know I need to increase 1 stitch at each end of 9th row but then get lost! Beg with a K row, work in st st, shaping side seams by inc 1 st at each end of 9th and 8 [8: 6: 4] foll 14th rows, then on 0 [0: 2:4] foll 16th rows. 111 [125: 141: 157] sts. Many thanks. Goose 564 Report post Posted October 21, 2014 HI Lulu and welcome to the forum After increasing on 9th row you will increase on rows 23, 37, 51, 65, 79, 93, 107, 121 (don't know what size you are knitting so have covered all sizes. On 3rd size only you will increase on rows 137, 153 On 4th size only you will increase on rows 137, 153, 169, 185 Hope this helps
LuLu75 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2014 Hi Goose, Thanks for that! So just to check I have understood - I increase on every 14th row after the 9th x the number for the size and then on the 16th rows after that. so for 3rd size 6x on rows 23, 37, 51, 65, 79, 93, then on 109 and 125.
