instructions
  1. Book Notes - 1 Following the chart, stitch ‘Book Notes’ over one block of Aida using two strands of embroidery thread.

2 Once all the stitching is complete, trim around the words, three holes away from the design all the way around. Back with white card.

3 Mount the stitched wording onto pink patterned paper, then glue a pink sparkly gem in each corner. Use double-sided tape to attach the decoration
to the centre front of the notebook cover.

  2. Bookmark - 1 Follow the Book of The Month chart provided and stitch the design over one block of Aida. Use two strands of cotton for the cross-stitch and one for the backstitched letters.

2 When the sewing is complete, cut out the design one hole away from the stitching all the way around. Back the lettering with white card.

3 Cut purple spotted paper, 7.5cm x 19cm, and back with white card. Punch a hole in the centre, 2cm up from the bottom edge. Attach the stitched
design to the middle, 2cm from the top.

4 Add a word embellishment, using the picture as a guide and a sticky pad. Tie green grosgrain ribbon through the hole to finish.

  3. Book Tag - 1 Follow the chart and stitch over one block of Aida, using two strands of thread. Once the sewing is complete, cut out the word, one hole away from the stitching all the way around and back with white card.

2 Cut a tag shape, 5.5cm x 10cm, from white card and cover with purple leaf patterned paper. Punch a hole in the top of the tag and set a pink eyelet into it.

3 Attach pink polka dot ribbon down the left side of the tag. Glue the cross-stitched word in the centre of the tag. Make a heart embellishment
by matting a pink paper heart onto a white card heart, then add a pink gem to the centre.

4 Affix the heart embellishment to the corner of the word using a sticky pad. Finally, tie pink ricrac through the hole, as shown.
