instructions
  1. little birdie - 1 Trim light blue paper to create a panel slightly smaller than a card blank. Colour the edges with brown ink. Using the Everywhere Window Punch™, make scalloped circles as shown. Cover the back of them with patterned paper. Using the Border Punch, make two strips of contrasting papers. Ink edges with brown and fix to the bottom of the paper as shown.

2 Draw three tree trunk shapes on the back of brown paper, cut out and fix two in position, as shown. Wind twine around the border section and decorate with a button and bow. Using the Squeeze Punch, make one bird from brown paper and one from a patterned design. Cut down, layer as shown and fix to the card.

3 Make lots of small circles from brown paper with the Hand Punch and decorate. Punch one from patterned paper and use for the eye of the bird. Stamp a sentiment onto a small white card and fix twine to the back. Ink the edges and secure in position. To decorate the inside, make a circle from patterned paper using the Squeeze Punch. Add the tree trunk and finish off with a sentiment.

  2. ruffled hearts - 1 Trim patterned paper to create a panel slightly smaller than the card blank. Distress the edges with scissors and ink in brown. Using the Everywhere Window Punch™, make three squares on the right-hand side and fix paper to the card.

2 With the ShapeCutter™, mat and Heart Template, cut out three shapes decreasing in size from co-ordinating patterned papers. Distress the edges with scissors and ink with brown. Fix the largest two in place, as shown.

3 Wrap lace around the smallest heart and fix with 3-D foam pads. Cut out three of the small hearts from the template and stick over the punched-out squares, as shown. Stamp a sentiment with brown ink. Create faux stitching with a black fineliner pen and decorate with pearls.
