Use simple folding techniques inspired by the orient

Creative influences from the East are still prominent in the crafting world. These stylish bowls use one of the few circular origami techniques in their construction and the finished results are surprisingly sturdy. The separate pockets on each bowl can be used to hold all sorts of crafty bits and pieces. Use the double-sided papers to add patterns and demonstrate the versatility of the folds. The steps may take a little time to perfect, but don’t rush ­ because once they’re mastered, you will be folding everything in sight that isn’t nailed down!
