You will need...
Paint, Acrylic, Deco Art Americana: hookers green, coral, honey brown, light green, lemon yellow, cherry red, burnt sienna, leaf green, charcoal grey
Gesso, white
Brushes: flat, wide, no 1, 00
Card, cream, lime
Paper, tracing
Mug, ceramic, white
Tape, masking
Promarker, green
Hen Pecked
1 Wash a ceramic mug and dry thoroughly to remove any greasy residue. Using the templates supplied here transfer the large chicken motifs onto one side of the mug and 'Love My Chooks' wording on the back, following the picture.
2 Colour the hen heads yellow and the bodies light brown, adding darker details to the wings. Leave to dry. Shade the combs and wattle in red. For the wording, use dark green. Once dry, apply random dots in the spaces between the motifs, alternating between lime and coral.
