You will need...

Acetate
Card
Tape, double-sided
Paints, Marabu
acetate film

You can use the glass paints to make cards too. In fact in many ways painting on flat acetate is far easier and a good way to introduce yourself into using them.

Glass Act

1 Arrange the template provided on the pattern download [link this please to the October templates in the downloads section] on a work surface. Place a layer of acetate on top and affix it in position with double-sided tape.

2 Paint on the desired colours, using the picture as a guide. Alternatively, add gutta first then fill in the other areas. Leave to try, then remove from the template.

3 Cut and fold a blank, then cut an aperture in the centre. Add a strip of double-sided tape around the edge of the painted panel and position it in the middle of the greeting, from the reverse side.

4 Trace out a window from a spare piece of co-ordinating card, add tack to the back of it. Secure over the reverse of the front panel to hide the edges of the acetate and make it neater.
