Has anyone heard of this?

I just bought a new cuttlebug folder and after one run through the bug it warped.  grrr

I have several other embossing folders, some that have been used numerous times, without even a hint of warping. I’m guessing that I should probably take this one back. It is almost as if the plastic has stretched in places.

I’m worried if I try to continue to use it the top and bottom parts of the folders will eventually not line up at all.

Have attached a pic of one of my normal but well used folders and also one of the
warped after one use folder.

Oooh I would take it back.  Mine haven’t done this although my plates are “bent” but apparently this is normal

My plates had warped, but once I stared flipping them over, they were ok. Just so frustrating. This will be the 3rd crafty thing I have had to return in the last 6 weeks due to manufacturing faults!

My other problem is due to where I live, I have to drive 1/2hr or more to find any decent craft shops with cuttlebug products in stock.

I’d take it back to - looks as if its been microwaved smile

If the shop was that far away, why not phone them first?

Bit late replying but yes, definitely take it back but as advised ring first.  It is your customer right to receive a refund or replacement (depending on the shops policy)on faulty/damaged goods.  I’m sure you will have no problems.

I decided to take the folder back today as I have a very busy week nest week. Unfortunately they have no more of the tiny mosaic in stock, so I will wait until it comes in. On the plus side they had 30% of everything cuttlebug and sizzix…......so yep you guessed it, I couldn’t help myself, I just had to buy some more.
At $6 (3 pounds) each who wouldn’t! I bought mesh, congrats and baby. Now just to get off this forum and make something!
