Im a newbie!!! Started 3 weeks ago!!!
I had my little boy 14months ago and am back at worh 2 days a week, so I thinking about ways to make a few extra pennies that I could do at home around my son and also do something for me. Then jewellery making came into my mind.
I watched and read vairious things on internet and became hooked and kept babbling on about it to hubby, my mum ordered me a starter kit and extra packs of beads (think she was sick of me talking about it and not doing anything!!) I was very excited but also scared…..im abit of a whimp when it comes to new things!!!
When it came I started having a play at first opportunity and was hooked!!! People at work were impressed with it all and said it looked a high standard!! My friend has recently opened a tanning/beauty salon and I put a display board up and have already sold some necklaces/bracelets!!! This gave me a huge confidence boost.
Then one evening I was browsing websites and what id love and hubby told me to order bits and he’d get it me for my bday. Today ive been to ikea and treated myself to a desk and some storage and we’re going to redecorate spare room for me.
I feel so lucky that my hubby and mum have put there belief in me and have given me a boost by buying me these things. Without them i would never have had the confidence in myself to bite the bullet. I just hope I can make them proud and if I do make any more pennies then I can treat us all now again.
