Haven’t been very active on here recently, been hectic and busy! But i’m making time to do this swap this month.

I’ll run a poll to decide on what item to make. I thought of an autumn theme, but have changed it a bit… I love the opening lines of Keats ‘To Autumn’ which is ‘season of mists and mellow fruitfulness’ So i want you to creat your piece of jewellery around a line / some lines from a favourite poem. When you submit it, can you include a brief description of your lines and why you’ve used them and how it all fits together? In English by the way!!

reminder - please don’t vote in the poll unless you are taking part!

amended: Dates: Saturday 1st October to join up and at that point we can see the decision on what to make.
then makes to me by 18th October so that i can get them sent out by that weekend. OK with you all?

Hi welcome to the forum

All you need to do is ask to play & your name will then be added to the list & place your vote too.

Then when the poll ends you need to make your Jewellery item to that make that the poll voted on & to the theme that’s set.

Make sure you make your Jewellery swap & post it to the host before the closing date set, also enclose a SAE using a large stamp & a padded envelope, so your returned swap from another member will return to you safely.

Oh this sounds a lovely idea, if you are accepting overseas players do count me in though I’m not certain which would be my most favourite poem.

Ref postage - I think overseas participants send in some bits and pieces to cover postage, and the host for the swap then ensures enough postage is put put on???
