Hello, here's a sneak preview of the stripy jumper in the making. This is the front piece. It's reverse st st with yummy stripes of pink, a sort of fawny-grey with nice turquoise blobs every so often and purple. All the colours have blobs of other colour - only tiny ones - every so often. It's a good yarn to work with. Can't wait to get the rest of it finished! cheese

Ooo, thanks guys! cheese I'm dead excited about finishing this. It's already destined to be my next Favourite Jumper. cheese I've got up as far as the arm decrease now, having not spent as much time on it today as initially intended. I ended up wittering on the phone to my bestie for over 1.5 hours. red face LOL Su2ie, the yarn is Rowan Purelife Revive and I'm using colours quartz (pink), pumice (fawny-grey) and ironstone (purple).

Well that is a good arrangement about the phone calls Goose. Does Bestie mean Best Friend?

Great jumper K and F...for some reason I always seem to work faster when there is stripes...I think it might just be an illusion, because it is so easy to see how far you have got!

Good one RC! LOL I often think of stripes as "go faster stripes" - it's a hangover from someone I knew in the past. But everything stripy has "go faster" stripes to me these days. Maybe I'll go faster in this jumper when it's done! LOL

Goose, if I could get a word in edgeways I'd try that 59 mins thing. I think my friend has a call package that's inclusive, so she can witter away until my ears start melting. But I don't call many people, so only have the first hour free evening/weekend thing, so stopping mid flow when I'm the only one worried about it can be quite hard. Maybe I should give it another go though. Save me some extra pennies for more wool! cheese
