It may sound cliche but one of my favourite books is Pride & Prejudice- I absolutely love it. Are there any other fans of the classics out there?

I also love Sense & Sensibility.

I love the classics too, I keep meaning to read some again! I love all Jane Eyre books, and Thomas Hardy Far From the Madding Crown, and lots I can't think of.

I love a good story, I have enjoyed modern classics too.

I love classics and Shakespeare, my daughter does too. Her friends just didn't understand her Shakespeare obsession but they knew who to go to when they were having problems with their Midsummer’s Night Dream though essays though lol

Yeah I love classic books as well. Little Women is one of my favourites. I also love modern classics like Too Kill a Mocking Bird and Orwell's 1984.

Little Women is one of my favourites too!

I like watching Shakespeare, I once spent 2 week in Stratford Upon Avon at an English Lit camp arranged by my school (a bog-standard comprehensive) which included going to see a different play every night, including several Shakespeare ones done by the RSC. It was really good, fantastic 2 weeks.

Wow, that's sounds like a whole lot of geeky fun! LOL

I keep trying to convince my Mum or boyfriend to go and see something at The Globe theatre in London but they aren't convinced yet. Just about persuaded Mum to see Romeo and Juliet if it ever comes on around here.

I was thinking about this the other day actually - about how, when I was doing English Literature at school, I read all sorts of classics and enjoyed them but haven't picked them up since. I'd like to read them again for fun, now I'm not revising from them raspberry

I'm currently reading 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde smile
