thought I’d post this in a different thread, this is now my second tote, bag, It’s the same pattern as the spotty one, but I added some pockets to the front, and put the handle on differently, I hope you like it, I’ve made this for my new baby niece, i have to make another one as I have a new nephew now as well.

Thank you so much, I’m afraid I have a confession to make, the material came patchworked already, I also have it in blue patchwork, to make one for my new nephew.

thank you all for your lovely comments, it means such alot to me, especially as I am new to sewing, I usually make quilts, even though i am a beginner at that too, I have been very poorly the last few years, and needed something to do that wasn’t overly stessfull but enjoyable, and it’s also something that I can do as and when.  So once again thanks x

Thank you ladies, I’ve just showed my Mum them, and she wants me to make her one, in the spotty material, so that will keep me busy

I love your bag! The idea of covering the button like the bag is brilliant. I often have problems finding an appropriate button when I make bags and for me the final touch is so important. Thanks for sharing!

thank you so much, I used to use the plastic buttons, but I’ve switched to the metal ones now, much easier to cover
