a puzzle for you knitters -

my daughter today wants me to knit two things for her daughter number 2 emily who is 2 years of age; thats the practical information! anyway first pattern i need is a simplish one its a short sleeved longline cabled waistcoat for emily, thats probably quite easy btw she got both these ideas from the latest next catalouge if thats any help! now this is the 2 one she wants a tank top type vest for emily not hard again but she wants a peppa pig on it. i know all about copyrights etc but any tank top would be ok i guess i need peppa pig on a graph but i am not very good at that. help!!!

Hi Laura

You'll need knitting graph paper to print/draw your design onto so that your knitted picture is not distorted.
Take a look here or just google knitting graph paper.

You'll need to work out what ratio you need from your yarn tension. It's not difficult.

the waistcoat is brilliant anyone have the pattern? the tank top is ok maybe a bit summer top but i was going to do it stripes pref in dk yarn thank you
