I was also wondering that same thing Louise, I’d have thought it would have to be something reasonably thick for it to work.

Had a look and it looks like chipboard. Don’t have a Cuttlebug, but looks like a money saver to me for anyone who does…

I wouldnt chance chipboard, I have broken 2 platers this year so being more carefull
I suppose and thickness paper or card would do, just alter the amount of shims Louise xx

Oh Maggie…I never realised the plates could break. Are they expensive? I imagine they are.

Debbie if you overtax them they will crack but dont worry it takes a lot,
one of the times I put too a thick plate in by mistake it was my own fault,
the other time I think the plate was too old
I think it was around £9 for 2 so not too bad price wise xx
