Hi - first poster here!

I have a few extras to add:

Supplementary items (if you make/sell them) such as gift tags or cards
Spare Gift boxes
Leaflets with details of future fairs you’ll be exhibiting at
Order form for bespoke items
Safety pins, Sellotape, Blue tak & scissors -  they’re just handy to have around
Calculator - for totting up all those sales
baby wipes and tissues - very handy, you might need to clean the table when you get there and grubby hands are not conducive to sales.
bottle of water/flask of coffee and a cereal bar/lunch - basically something to eat and drink in case you can’t get away from your table

Plus an outfit you feel fabulous in and a broad smile!

.........  George Clooney, for those quiet moments!  But seriously, I think everything that has been listed above just about covers it.  I always make sure everything is priced up the night before.  Never wear anything that isn’t your own jewellery - that’s the one piece everyone will ask about!  LOL

Great Tip’s I have my first in September it’s for 2 days, how many items do you think I should take? I have about 130 pieces made up so far and not much time left!

As it packs up surprisingly small (use grip seal bags for each item and then a larger bag to pack them into colour groups) I would take the lot.  As you sell, you can fill the gap with another piece.

Also if someone looks at what you have on display and says they are looking, for instance, for a piece of jewellery to go with their new blue outfit you can get your blue bag out and help them to find a piece that will go with their new blue outfit.  You get a sale and the customer is happy.  grin

You have 130 pieces made!!!!!
How long did you take to make them all?

My biggest problem is time you see. Every time I sit down to do something I’m always inevitably interrupted five minutes later.

Now take my hand and hold it tight
I will not fail you here tonight
For failling you, I fail myself
And place my soul upon the self
Of Hell’s library without a light
I will not fail you here tonight

Has anyone got any pictures of their displays? I’ve got my first market in December and haven’t got a clue. Thanks Maree x
