My copy of the new Crafts Beautiful has landed today.

I just find it unusual that there isn’t a free gift. I have got something in the back of my mind that there should be some shapes or similar. Or are my wee grey cells giving up on me? 

I know that I have dug in my June copy amongst my craft stuff, but I think I will need to look it out and check.

Page 7 , top right under “August is the month to….”  it says “use the fab sweet treats chipboard shapes that are free with this issue”.

I didn’t have any with my subscription copy of the magazine either :-(

I will ask Kate about this ladies, I am not sure either, mine had just the extra mag in it,
you will know in morning if Kate isnt busy

Nope, none in mine either, although they are definitely mentioned on page 7!

I have just looked at page 7 and it does seem that we were to get chipboard shapes,
I have left a message to HQ so please be patient till tomorrow ladies xx

In the meantime I have ‘tracked down’ my June mag. It also states the chipboard shapes as free gift. And the plastic around my mag was undamaged, so the gift was never in the pack.

I was wondering about that too…. I will watch this space

I get confused!! I had August’s copy yesterday and I’m still reading July’s…..isn’t it June??? Can’t see that we should’ve got chip-board thingies this time…but then…I’m a very slow reader!

They are always a month in advance, I think its to give you a chance to do special occasion cards
like mothers day etc, thats my theory anyway
Not heard from Kate yet, about free gift x

yep, I’ve found it now….page 7 ...august. issue.. sweet treats free with this issue….nope, didn’t get those!!!

Hi ladies,

Just seen this (sorry, as usual it’s been a *very* busy week!). There obviously appears to be some kind of problem with the covermount, I will look into this now and see what I can do.

Hello again ladies,

I’ve just spoken to the subscription department and there has been a problem with subscriber copies not having the gifts included. This is on all subscriber copies so the free chipboard shapes are being sent out individually today to everyone who didn’t receive a set with their magazine.
Hopefully you should receive yours within the next couple of days.
