It's by Kate Mosse and I'm in the middle of reading it now. Just wondering if anyone else has read it?

I started it twice. But I must admit that I gave up after a while - and that on both occasions.

Oh, really? Was it because it's a rather weighty tome? Big books are off putting if you don't have the time... it did take me a while though. Must admit, I'm starting to race through it. I do find it irritating that she keeps using cliches so much and uses phrases rather than sentences a lot in places. In fact, the start was so gramatically poor, I felt as if a child had written it. It does improve though, but a weak start doesn't help, does it?

I read it few years ago, takes some time to get into it & you have to stay focused to understand what's going on but I did enjoy it.
Hope you mange to stick it out to the end

I did finish it, but I wouldn't really want to read anything by her again. Prefer shorter novels and I didn't like her style. I didn't find it difficult to understand though, but I read it in large blocks, which helps. Always been an avid reader.

Really? Ah well, we all like different things, don't we? I often find I don't like the best selling books but go for others instead.

I read it too, I found it quite difficult to keep up with, although I perservered I definatly wouldn't bother with it again.
