hi everyone, i’ve been asked to host my first jewellery party in a few weeks nd was wondering if anyone had any hints or tips for me to maximise selling potential etc. was also wondering if anyone knew any good companies to get good business cards for a good price to hand out on the night.

Hello Vicky,

That is fantastic news as Sarah says smile I do quite a lot of jewellery parties and they are a fantastic earner! I would say from my experience if you are taking orders tell people you want the money up front, I do this all the time as I have had some unpleasant experiences of people saying they have paid when they have not and everyone is always ok about it smile

Just take loads of stock and have some nice displays to showcase your beautiful wares and I think thats about it! Oh remember to take a notebook and write down everything you sell….what I do is give the hostess 10% of sales to spend on anything she wants and this always goes down really well and they end up spending loads more.

I get all my business materials from Vista Print, if you send me your email address I will send you an email link so you get the free business cards, all you do is pay for postage but I know other ladies use moo (http://www.moo.com) and they look fab….I may get some myself soon!

Good luck and let us all know how you get on smile
