If anyone else wants to do the crochet hook deal, I'll take more than one.

In the meantime, thanks Buzy.

Ì found my sparkly 3.5mm plastic hook RC whilst looking for a metal one - if I can't find my metal one I may have to use it though!!!
I have some knit pro wooden hooks but the smaller ones in the set are too sharp to use and the gap at the head to big and they keep snagging the wool confused

Could you file the sharp ones down, with a nail file? I've done that to sort out my bamboo needles on occasions.

Not that I'm fishing for your plastic hook here, you keep it if you need it. Just trying to help make your knitpro's useful.

I don't know if filing them will help much as the actual space between the head is far too wide on some of them so when you're hooking the yarn back through the loops the hook is just too wide! Thankfully the 3.5mm one is one of the ones that's narrower and so far has been okay so I think I may be able to let the plastic one go to you cheese If I can I will post it out tomorrow smile

Ok cool, are you still after dk for your afghan, or do you want something else this time?

And while I am in here, has anybody got a set of 3mm dpn's, that they actually don't want...in wood or bamboo?

RC parcel posted cheese
Yep more DK for the afghan please grin I like the thought that I will have squares crocheted out of wool from a friend smile
I've only got a set of 3.25mm bamboo dpns and only 4 in a set. I don't use them so they're free to a good home so are they of any use to you?

No, thank you, I've got 3.25.

Thanks for the parcel though, all my parcels posting is on hold until I meet the deadline on these toys, but I shall retaliate with more dk colours straight after they are done.

Hey no problem RC - no rush smile Yeah I mostly have metal dpn's and just the 3.25 wooden - some are rather rusty so must go through my needle stash with the gauge to find some less rusty 2.5mm ones for my socks ohh

Pretty Pale, would you like to join me in the Anti-Pink Club? LOL

You know what, I saw that offer, and thought "Suzie would really dig that colour." smile

Certainly you can wait till it arrives, then post in here about it and what you would like instead. Just remember not to post addresses on the thread, and we are not allowed to be selling, so only swap stuff for stuff.

(Now I'm not sure if that was clear or gobbledygook, when my migraines are this bad I don't know what language I'm speaking, if any, but Husband thinks it is English so I'm posting it).

big surprise How very dare you!!! What's wrong with pink?? LOL

I must admit I did think will I be able to talk the OH into a sub for me when I saw that offer? Trouble is its twice the price to get a sub over here being "overseas" I'm not sure if I have anything in my stash that Prettypale would want though confused
