I reckon this belongs in SOS.

Here is the idea:

If you have a bit of knitty equipment that you don't want, or some stash that is just sitting there, or even a UFO that won't finish itself, but there is something you want, and don't mind taking second hand, then you post about what you are offering, and what you are looking for, and if a match turns up, sorted grin .

The target is to get all the yarn that lying about unwanted, and all the needles that are just squashed into pockets, and all the depressing "Why did I buy that's?" moved to somewhere where it would be making someone happy grin.

Important:
This is NOT an invitation to breach copyright laws, so if you offer patterns, please do not be sending photocopies. I know it sounds harsh, but think of the designers, that is their product you are taking away.
Please also be careful not to mess the forum up by posting your email address, or put yourself in danger by posting your land address in the middle of the forum.

PS: If this is not allowed on the forum, I'm sorry and please Moderators, take the thread out before I cause any more trouble.

Ok, message from the Moderators, we can exchange things, but not buy or sell.

So no cash to be offered or requested.

Ok, I know what I want. Anybody still got the canary yellow yarn that was the LK freebie last summer? It came with a purple one of the same.

I could give a baby buttons selection, or a ball of yarn for it...if someone wants yarn we can PM about what colour etc...

Sounds like a deal to me Suzie, I'll PM you.

I'll take more than just one more of that yellow, so if anyone else wants to swap their's for something more useful, do squeak.

Ooooh wool in the post for you RC! Just back from town grin Looks like Buffy has some for you too cheese

Not sure what I was doing when the first LK came out?? It must have been in the early days with Ellie as a baby or something when it was as much as I could do to feed and change her and get the odd hour of sleep once in a while! Every TWO hours she used to wake up through the night (until she was 1) and the only thing my needles were used for was prodding me awake!!!!
