Hi everyone,

the newbies in my knitty club all want to knit a simple quick project for Easter, with me making up the packs same way I did for the Christmas pudding tea cosy project.
I found a sirdar pattern for a hen tea cosy but it's knitted in 'snowflake'...not the easiest of wools for a newbie to work with - very hard to pick up a dropped stitch.
I was looking for inspiration....where can I find egg cosy patterns does anyone know?
Or is there anything else ''Easterish" (sp!!?) that they could make?
The thought of us all in knitted Easter bonnets in church brought on a fit of the giggles tonight LOL

any suggestions welcome x Dreamy smile

Dreamy - if you want any of my egg cosy patterns just ask & I'll PM them to uou. They're very easy. Basic pattern in DK & make any way you like. Bunny egg cosies are in 4ply & need a little bit of toy stuffing for the head.

i agree, snowflake is difficult to knit with, ive got the new alan dart pattern for chicks, but i'm going to use the bubble yarn i got off kemps instead - i've got a lovely cheerful yellow! (also got blue and pink as well - ho hum!)

Dreamy I used the Easter patterns from the jean Greenhowe site, the kids have had more trouble sewing them up than knitting them LOL
