Okay my first altered item. An old chest i painted and then decorated with pieces of an altered jigsaw i’d made that i didn’t know what to do with. i think it turned out okay but still not sure if i should add other things?? it’s to hold some of my crafty bits in my workroom.

Really gorgeous, green and mysterious. Is it an IKEA chest? I have one too that I altered but I can never get the drawers to open and close nicely. Does yours ‘work’ properly?

Looks good to me, and doesn’t need anything else.

I wonder if something like candle wax rubbed along the drawers will help them open and close.  Or maybe varnish the bottms and the inside?
