Welcome to our brand-new challenge based on issue 11 - our exotic issue!

As for our previous challenges, all you have to do to enter is:

Produce a jewellery make based on issue 11 of the magazine. You can either do an exact replica, or if you want to use beads already in your stash that’s absolutely fine too!

* We ask that you post a picture in this thread, with a little explanation of the relevant project and page number, and any details about how you adapted the design to suit your own taste / bead supply.

* One entry per person please. Challenge closes on the 26th February. The winner will be announced after the 1st March and a fresh challenge will be opened for the new issue.

And the winner, judged by myself, will receive a lovely beady goodie bag!

Right I’ve made mine already, couldn’t wait to get started on it, but I have no camera at the moment, so you’ll have to wait to see it!!

So we got a new camera but it is very snazzy and we’re not too sure how to work it yet but these are
my first attempts and my entry for the challenge!

It’s based on ‘Spinning around’ page 66 of the mag, and it’s my first real attempt at wirework. I’m really proud of how it turned out, I even made the clasp myself (hammered it with a DIY hammer against the back of the rowing machine- it was the closest hard surface!!).

I’ve heard some excuses to get out of exercising, but taking a hammer to the rowing machine?!!!! Hope it survived!

That’s lovely. The coils look really round and even. My first few attempts at coils had serious corners on (  ), so I’m mightily impressed with your first real wiry make!

Aaah thank you, I’m blushing now, I must tell you it’s not quite my first attempt, I’ve tried wrapping beads once or twice before, but this is the first one that worked!
