Has anyone seen this machine in action.  Now I have bought my Robo , I would still quite like a machine for embossing and this looked quite good.

I had not heard of this machine before your thread, but just looked it up on the Sizzix website.

The price is really attractive. But there are two things I would check out:

a) Size of the embossing platform to make sure that the size of card you can emboss is sufficient for your purpose
b) Compability with embossing folders from other manufacturers, so that you are not limited to just folders for this specific machine

Yes these are a couple of things I will need to look into, but I have just bought a craft robo so it was the price that appealed to me.

Has anyone got one of these?  If so, what do they think of it?  I’m quite tempted but would like a user’s opinion if possible please.

My new boutique arrived today I had it up and running within five minutes of opening the door to the delivery man. I LOVE it, I got the sytlised flowers folder and it works beautifully. When I get the camera out later I will post a picture. Can’t reccomend it highly enough. Can you tell I’m excited? cheese

Here a two cards made using the boutique but not by me by my eight year old daughter who has used the machine more than me today! (can’t wait until she’s back at school)
I’ve had to scan the cards in as having issues with camera today can’t get the lighting right and she wants to see them on the forum before she goes to bed.

I’ve got one and its really really easy to use, you can use cuttlebug folders in it as well as the sizzix ones

just used mine for the first time its dead easy to use only thing is I would say put the plates through twice otherwise it doesnt come out very well also it will only take a standard c5 card one side at a time so you are very lilited on the type of card you can imbose directly

mine did come wit htwo plates tho

they are on ebay at about £8 each
