I found some beautifully printed rice papers while I was in Italy.
My first effort at using them is offered here.
I accept that there is room for improvement with this particular make.
It’s a hexagonal storage box which I intend to keep seed packets in.
Anyone seen these papers?
It’s a bit like napkin decoupage, but the images available are gorgeous.
Thank you Lynda, Karen and Christiana for all your kind comments.
Karen - The scroll was one of the few stamps I took with me,
and I used a Stampin’ Up ink pad that was in my travel kit too.
Glad you like the result.
Been meaning to tell you for ages.
Do you remember Tarquin the frog - your lovely tree frog image?
Well I made him into a birthday card for my DIL.
We were visiting there in June and he is still up in pride of place in their dining room.
Thought you would be chuffed - birthday card that has been out for 10 months (birthday in August!)!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Kate, that is such a compliment and to your good self too creating the card. I am such a lazy mare I have a book full of imges that were supposed to be touched up for download, just gathering dust , somewhere in this tip of a craft room
KNow the felling Rachel - got to find my spare bed for the weekend!
It’s under all my craft stuff!
I’m sure it is ???
Thanks so much Sarah - don’t you do some of this sort of decoupage too?
It was me!!! I did some decopatch a while a go but your is fabulous Kate. I have some drawers that are waiting to be done, I walk past them everyday and think I must start them. I have the papers already but just need the time Love the idea of keeping your seed packets in the box too Kate x
