The Let's Knit Starter pack was delivered to the Hitchin Stitchin' group earlier this week. I can honestly say it was well worth the wait. Packed full of goodies - patterns, pattern book, magazines, yarn, subscription offers and a lovely project bag. Thank you so much Let's Knit Mag. The group is having great fun making Christmassy pompoms with the glitter fun yarn, several members have gone on holiday clutching magazines and patterns, and the bag will form part of our next fund-raising raffle. Brilliant! Thanks again, Danno.

Sounds great and I know all our knitters will love it as they are into charity knitting and always looking for new things to raise money for funds and charities smile

Hi Pat,

I'm glad it arrived safely and that you liked it!

I've also just had a sneaky peak at the Hitchin Stitchin' Club of the Month article that will be in the next issue. It looks great - great quotes from you too! grin

Oh Danno, you are a tease. I haven't seen the draft yet. Now I'm all intrigued and excited. Now everyone must cross everything possible that the postal strike will be over before subscription copies are due.

Whenever I click on the link to get my starter pack NOTHING HAPPENS . In an earlier post you mentioned something about cookies - could you be more specific? I am running both IE and Firefox but have the same problem with both of them

I set up my local Let's Knit last November and got us all signed up. My group has even appeared in the March edition of LK but still no goody bag. I have sent off 2 emails asking whats happening and had no reply Could someone please help? I have the club nagging at me now asking where things are and I get this feeling they think I've kept all the goodies to myself!

Could someone please help?

Hi, I'm Emmo and I've recently taken over from Danno looking after Let's Knit Local. I'm afraid that during the handover I'm not sure if a few clubs received their packs or not, so if anyone is still waiting for a starter pack, please can you PM your name and the name of your club so I can send them out. Sorry for the delay!

Hello Emmo!

I'm new to the site & wondering if the group I belong to could apply for a "Let's Knit Local" Starter Pack.
The knitting group (S n'B of Crouch End, N8) was established by others who have since left. I joined them a few months ago and have encouraged others with other needle-crafts to join us. This introduction has been successful, and it's bought a few men to embrass crafting (plus we meet in a pub... perfect social evening hehe!!!)
The group's majority are made up of knittes...Our two newest members are men & Cross Stitchers.

Please let me know. I hope the answer is "yes" as it'll be such a boost... also I hope to meet a few more local needle-crafters
:-D

Hi Emmo,
I'm trying to sign up to the newgroup start up, but when I enter the userid and password it just refreshes the page - I've tried a few times and can't get it to work - help!
