Hi everyone!

Knitting groups have never been so popular and with good reason, as there is so much to gain from meeting up to knit. But what if there isn't a group near you?

Well, Let's Knit Local is here to support you and show you that setting up your own group is not as daunting a prospect as it might seem.

The Let's Knit Local website gives you tips on:

* Choosing a venue
* Setting a time/agenda
* Spreading the word
* Finding resources and special offers
* Making the most of Let's Knit
* Making it your own
* Taking it to the next level

And what's more, we'll even promote you in Let's Knit magazine and send you a starter pack for your first meeting!

So, to find out more visit Let's Knit Local today and sign up!

Happy Knitting! smile

Can we sign up even if we've got a club due to open to try to help increase the interest?

Can we sign up just to see what's in the pack, to see if we might start a group?

Hi everyone!

I'm glad you all like the idea smile

Lizzy - the pack itself will vary, but will include freebies such as yarn, patterns, needles and extra goodies to help the first meeting go with a bang! It's free to sign up though, so take a look inside smile

A message for Admin.

I've registered with Knit Local, am already a subscriber to Let's Knit, but can't work out how to sign up for a free starter pack for my new evening knitting group, sistr-group to Hitchin' Stitchin' or how to get it listed in the magasine. :(

Please help.

I will have to talk to the organiser of our group as its been difficult trying to get a knitting group off the ground here so any extra help would be great - we're hoping to start beginning of September smile

Hi Jennie,

I think this could be a technical problem, and you may need to clear your cache and cookies. Oli explains how you can sort this problem here

I hope that helps!

Thanks,

Any news of our starter pack's dispatch? We are about to have our third meeting, host a BIG KNIT event and try to cater for beginners wanting to learn to knit. A Let's Knit starter pack would be a great addition to the two Hitchin Sitchin' (Let's Knit together) goodie bags I'm raffling to try to raise funds for a November Workshop.
