I tried something different today and would love to know what you think.
My friend Natalie (Sequin) had sent me a gorgeous RAK which included this piece of Blueberry Hill paper and Flower Fairy Topper. I was actually going to use the Flower Fairy stacker that was in the RAK but it was a bit big for this design. I’ve changed the look of the paper by making it look old - I used an brown ink pad all around it, then rubbed my nail file over it to try and make it look old. When I first started adding the ink I thought “Oh my god it’s gonna look awful”. I added some pink glitter to the roses as well. I also added clear glitter to the fairy topper, on her wings, the rose and dress edge. I then added some rustic eyelets to the four corners - I’m hoping I’ve got a vintage look to this card.
