Oooh sounds like a fun day ahead Emmilou grin

Well its possible my fella may not be back from work until Sunday! Might break the back of his nicotine dependancy so fingers crossed grin Trouble is I could be completely wrong on that as his work plans have swapped and changed so much I've lost track blank stare

Well finished my preemie cardi last night so need to go to town for some suitable buttons as my button stash isn't big enough to have anything suitable. Started the cerulean for Ellie, with a few adjustments to downsize for a 2-3 year old cheese

Also need to start a preemie hat to match the cardi smile

Have a good day everyone - whatever you're doing!

Morning everyone!

Am very tired this morning after being woken up multiple times in the night by a combination of a heavy downpour and the cat freaking out because there was a heavy downpour confused

Have started work on my cerulean shrug (in white) as my 'on the bus' project as its not too big, and its shaping up nicely but probably wont get time to work on it this weekend as its going to be very busy. I've got a karate tournament on saturday and my nephew's christening is on sunday. But even then on Monday my fella and I are supposed to be going for a chinese with some friends because its our friend's 40th bday smile But even better it means my boyfriend will be home from his holiday!! Yippeee!! cheese I really cant wait til he gets home.

Have a good day/weekend everybody smile

Good luck with the tournament Dark and it sounds like you have a great weekend ahead grin

£8 frocks??? Wow Katy, will be looking in on Asda when I'm over for my hols cheese

Just frogged back Ellie's cerulean to the cuff as something didn't look right with my adjustments. Now working on 31 stitches and 7mm needles and will see how that goes smile

of course dark, its your tournament, you did say, sorry, a bit early!

yes su2ie £8 frocks, only a limited style etc, but very nice all the same (had a mooch on the website this morning) what I really want is a maxi dress but for that price I could get my knees out!

Oh think I'll look at the the website too although its a good few weeks yet until I'm due to come over so they'll probably be sold out by then! I think I'd get my knees out for that price too, as long as I can fit in the boobies and belly cheese

£8 dresses?? Genius!!

Morning all.

Dark - good luck with the tournament at the weekend.

I'm in work early as OH is at a 'business breakfast'. I'm grumpy because he didn't take me with him! And I bet he won't bring me back a croissant!

Rained overnight but still just as flipping muggy here. Though the good news is I haven't taken a hayfever tablet yet so hopefully I'm past all that for one year (now I've said that, I'll start sneezing again!)

Hope you all have a good Friday! xxx

Hello everyone, yay it rained! Boo it's still muggy indoors. But yay it's better outdoors so hopefully that'll filter in soon! cheese

Dark, good luck with your karate tournament tomorrow. I've always admired people who do martial arts. Not sure I have the co-ordination and definitely don't have the strength!
Su2, enjoy the peace while GOM is away and hope your mini cerulean works out OK. I'm finally on the last cuff after my mini break from knitting. I'm just doing a row at a time, then resting, then another row, etc.
Emmilou, have a wonderful time with your college friends today. Hope you don't get rained on, but that it stays cool so you all enjoy yourself.
Katy, good luck with your cerulean too. I bought a new frock by accident the other day and by happy coincidence it's gonna look nice with the cerulean I'm doing once I finish it. So definitely recommend a trip to Asda to find something to help showcase your hard work!
Littlemiss, hope you get a nice croissant from your hubby. It's been too hot to eat for me, but croissants are a nice treat.

Have a lovely, cooler day everyone. Fingers crossed I'll get my cerulean finished over the weekend and I'll post a piccy when I can.

Hi Lauren & K&F!

I had a look online at the asda dresses and really like the purple striped one grin Well I guess I will have to wait and see what they've got by the time I get to England. My GOM is off soon so Ellie and I will have a bit of peace and quiet cheese

Oooh I love the spotty ones!! Does anyone know how good they are on sizes?? I know Tesco come up really small whereas Sainsburys are big in the top dept and about right in the bottoms! May have to talk OH into letting me spend some of our hard earned cash on some - going to need some summer clothes at some point! Just checked and they've only got one available in my size. May have to have a look in a real life Asda when I'm out tomorrow. Suzie if you want me to pick you up anything, let me know! xx

Thanks Lauren for the offer but I really need to try Asda stuff on as I find their sizes can be a bit difficult, especially with the belly and the boobies!

Well the GOM has gone, under his usual cloud. Sure he does it so I won't miss him and am glad to see the back of him!!!! And of course he leaves everything until the last minute so its MY fault when he can't find stuff mad

Right moan over! I'm going to get ready to go out then Ellie and I can go to town cheese
