thanks so much, suzie, i didn't think it was itchy when i was making them but i suppose i'm constantly moving the wool and it's not "sitting" on my skin (as such)

Well if Amber complains too much about itching you could always line them with a colourful fabric which would show through the crochet beautifully grin

Hi Kate and hello my knitty friends.
Well here is my entry. I've never entered a knitting competition before, so this was a great one to start with as it only required a ball of wool or less.
It's 'Techno' from issue 9, a mobile phone cover.
I knitted it in Patons Diploma Gold DK and I'm delighted with the result!

Wow, that's super-cute Dietgirl. Well done! cheese I haven't entered a knitting compo before either and now I'm wondering what I'll put in. Knowing my luck I'll forget and the closing date will be on top of me before I know it! ohh

Hi folks,

just thought I would have a wee go at this knitting challenge as I have never done one before.

This is a washing up liquid bottle dress lol, its the first time I tried this pattern and it was downloaded from the internet and I managed to knit it up today while watching Loose Women.

Here's hoping the pic downloads ok.

All the best
Heather
