I know many of ou like to bake, I do too! I have been through one of my baking recipe books this morning and come up with a list of things I would like to try:

* Almond Cake
* White Chocolate Cookies DONE
* Oat & Raiin Biscuits
* Gingernuts
* Chocolate Slab Cake DONE
* Chocolate & Pear Sponge DONE
* Choclate Orange Biscuits

Now I want to know what all you bakers wish you try out.

What I would like to do is use this thread for you to list new baking recipes that you wish to try out and come back and mark off those you have tried and done and, make note of it on your list! Happy Baking everyone and looking forward to seeing what you do!

A woman after my own heart. I used to bake all the time and now I daren’t as only me & OH most of the time and boy would we enjoy it if I was baking. Hard enough to control the weight these days.  

these recipes could be tempting though.

Sounds like I am getting you both o giggle a bit here. It can be controllable though! I tell you, one thing to keep it off is walking everywhere and on a regular basis, that’s what I do and there is another thing but, shall keep quiet on that one xx

There’s some yummy recipes on the general chitchat thread as well. 

One thing I’ve always fancied trying is a new york cheesecake but recipe always seems to be for a large cheesecake & the baking seems to be forever!
Would be interested to find someone who’s made one.
Sure there must be more I want to try but as OH is not generally a cake eater I don’t bake so much now.
Will have a think & come back again.

This is a great thread !.....l will give it some thought and get back on here…...l tasted a white chocolate cheesecake the other day, and boy was it good !!!l think l died and went to heaven !  l will get the recipe and post it on here…a tiny sliver was around 800 cals !! seriously….. ..

brilliant thread i will hunt out my orange cake recipe’s its beautiful and its so easy the kids make it for me lol xxxx

I’m as good at baking as I am singing…...................awful

But I like the sound of the chocolate orange biscuits so have just googled the recipe and got different ones.  So I’ll go for the easier one I think. Must remember to buy an orange and some cooking chocolate.

I’ll let you know when I attempt it.
