Hi everyone, Just wondered what we are all working on and how it's going.

I'm working on a top from another magazine in Just Bamboo. I've just cast on for the 2nd sleeve.

Oh RC you gave me a good chuckle there! I'm quite good as I try not to have more than 2 things on the go and generally only 1 smile

Atm I'm knitting a summer scarf for myself although disaster almost struck earlier when Ellie got hold of it and decided to do some knitting of her own! I have finger puppets planned too but need to write a list of stash requirements then go hunting as most of my toy yarn stash is separate to my main stash which is more organised!

Hmmm wonder if there is anything in the paper crafting section on making your own puppet theatre.....

My we are all busy aren't we?

I forgot I'm part way through a bag as well. Need to get a 4mm circular needle through. Would you believe it I've got so many needles but not a 4mm circular.

Hi

I am doing the tank top from LK mag last month, doing it in Wendy Happy 4ply, have another 6cms to go of the back before I start decreasing for the armholes. It is knitting up really nicely, took a bit of getting used to the 4ply, have decided this wool (well bamboo/nylon) is better knitted on bamboo needles, as I found the metal needles rather slippy and I was knitting even slower.

I can't wait to finish it, as this is my first big project as all my previous ones have been stuff like, socks, scarves, hats, bags, toys........so looking forward to wearing my first top, and of course showing it off to you all ...................hee hee

Waiting for my complimentary yarn from Sirdar but when it comes - another Havana (la vida loca) cardie for my daughter. She is 31 and talked me into it. She also wants one for her daughter (aged 4 on Friday). Didn't realize LK would have such a well used pattern. Looking forward to the July issue.

I hope you realise how lucky you are that you'll have it on Friday. I, like many others, get mine sent by subscription and it won't arrive till around June 20th. I cannot understand this and I have e-mailed the subs exec. but still waiting for a reason. confused

Thanks Sharon, still plugging away, but it will look fab when I am finished with it, I hope, may have to go and see Mammy for the neck, will try it myself first though. If I can knit a pair of socks, I am sure I can do it!

I'm sure you can do it. I've never done socks or used dpns but everyone on here seems to. Must try.

Sharon you should give the dpn's aka pointy sticks a go grin They can be fiddly at first but a few online guides will soon sort you out and of course you have all of us here to throw any problems at, but not your pointy sticks if frustration strikes cheese

Su2ie, will hold you to that. Just realised the neckband of the top I'm near to finishing calls for dpns and I haven't got a clue.
