I bought some magic knit from abakhan a few weeks ago, and i needed something to protect my new touch-screen phone so i started knitting a basic phone cozy for it today, its come on really well, just need to sew it together :D plus my uncle has just had a baby boy called Caleb Jayden (6 lbs) bless so as i only like knitting small things I thought I might make him a small cardi and hat as a present! I've also bought some card toppings to make a new baby card. excited!!! I love it when new babies are born! :D

Sorry I didn't see this till now but I prefer the one on the right smile both are very cute though, well done

Surprisingly for me I am currently sewing! Hand sewing at that surprised Sis crocheted a baby blanket for R yonks ago but the second side was a bit bigger than the first and it just didn't look right, he never took to it either, don't think it was as snuggly as V's one. So earlier this week I ripped the two sides apart and used the more colourful one as a backing for an old childs miniature duvet which is lovely and soft, I also stitched on a small cotton blanket on the inside for added warmth and I have just one side left to sew together...it is painfully slow but even if the kids don't use it it will make a cosy knee blanket for when Mum arrives smile

My knitting is calling me but it'll have to wait...will post pics soon smile

Hi I'm a Newby both here and a newby subscriber too
I have so many WIPs because I llove to make toys and I love to do swaps too.
I have a chunky cable scarf on the go
a double sided "long cat" scarf
some little crochet critters
and the LK Easter Parade Bunny
She is giving me problems though
The pattern comes with 5 photos but none show the bunny naked (this is not a kinky request) No picture shows how and where the arms and legs are attatched! confused
What I'm going to have to do, is knit the dress, dress the bunny, position the arms up the armholes of the dress, then mark their position, take the dress off, then sew them in place. - what a palava! A photo would have made it so much easier.
Hopefully your future patterns will be easier to follow.
So, no hard feelings, photos when done are promised; she's just so cute.
